Photo Verification
Document every order at pickup and delivery with required photos. Protects you and your customers.
Why Photos Are Required
Photo verification creates a transparent record of what was picked up and returned. It protects you from false damage claims, gives customers confidence in your service, and provides evidence if a dispute arises. Every order requires at least one photo at pickup and one at delivery.
Standard Photo Flow
For regular orders (without Laundry Guard), the process is quick — about 30 seconds per phase:
- At pickup: Take at least one overview photo of the laundry bags or items you're collecting.
- At delivery: Take at least one photo showing the completed delivery (bags at the door, handoff to customer, etc.).
You can't advance the order to "Picked Up" or "Delivered" until the minimum photos are attached. The photo modal appears automatically when you tap to complete a stop or advance the status.
Laundry Guard Photo Flow
Orders with Laundry Guard protection use a more detailed intake process:
Before processing (intake inventory)
- After pickup and before you begin processing, complete the intake inventory
- Photograph individual items, not just an overview
- Label each item (e.g., "blue dress shirt," "white towels")
- Flag any pre-existing damage (stains, tears, missing buttons)
- This creates a baseline record for fair claim evaluation
At delivery
- Re-photograph specific items for before/after comparison
- You don't need to re-shoot everything — just items where condition matters
This protects you. Thorough intake photos establish the condition of items before you process them. If a customer files a damage claim, the review team compares your intake photos against the claimed damage. Good documentation is your best defense.
