Notifications
Stay on top of new orders, cancellations, and payment alerts in real time.
What You'll Be Notified About
As a provider, you receive push notifications for events that need your attention:
- New order — a customer has placed an order with you. Tap to review and confirm.
- Order cancelled — a customer has cancelled their order before processing.
- Payment failed — a customer's payment was declined at delivery. You may want to retry or follow up.
- Payment successful — confirmation that payment was captured for a delivered order.
- Supply order updates — status changes on your Supply Shop orders (shipped, delivered, etc.).
- Delivery change requests — when a customer requests a different delivery window.
- Pickup change requests — when a customer reschedules a pickup.
- Tips received — when a customer leaves a tip on an order.
- Messages — when you receive a new message from a customer.
Customizing Your Preferences
Go to your provider Settings and tap Notification Preferences. Each notification type has its own toggle. Turn off the ones you don't need, and keep the critical ones (like new orders) enabled.
Recommendation: Keep "New Order" notifications enabled at all times. Quick confirmation times lead to happier customers and more repeat business.
Tapping a Notification
When you tap a notification, the app opens directly to the relevant order detail screen. This works whether the app is open, in the background, or completely closed — so you can take action immediately.
Enabling Notifications
If you declined the notification permission prompt when you first opened the app, you can enable notifications from your phone's settings:
- iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Laundryve > Allow Notifications
- Android: Settings > Apps > Laundryve > Notifications
