Notifications
Stay informed about your orders with customizable push notifications.
What You'll Be Notified About
By default, Laundryve sends you push notifications for key moments in your order lifecycle:
- Order confirmed — your provider has accepted your order
- Pickup updates — your provider is en route or has picked up your laundry
- Delivery updates — your laundry is on its way back or has been delivered
- Payment updates — successful charges, failed payments requiring action
- Claim updates — if you filed a Laundry Guard claim, you'll be notified of the outcome
- Messages — when you receive a new message from your provider
- Referral updates — when you earn or use referral credits
Subscriptions
- Weekly order placed — when your recurring weekly order is auto-generated
- Subscription paused — when your weekly subscription is paused
- Subscription resumed — when your weekly subscription is resumed
Customizing Your Preferences
You can control which notification types you receive. Go to your Account screen and tap Notification Preferences. Each notification type has its own toggle — turn off the ones you don't want, and keep the ones that matter to you.
Tip: Even if you turn off certain notifications, you can always see the latest status of any order by opening it in the app. Real-time updates are always available regardless of your notification preferences.
Tapping a Notification
When you tap a notification, the app opens directly to the relevant order detail screen. This works whether the app was open, in the background, or completely closed.
Enabling Notifications
The first time you open Laundryve, you'll be asked to allow push notifications. If you declined initially, you can enable them later from your phone's settings:
- iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Laundryve > Allow Notifications
- Android: Settings > Apps > Laundryve > Notifications
