Deleting Your Account
How to permanently remove your account and all associated data from Laundryve.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we remove everything tied to it. There's no partial deletion — it's all or nothing. Here's what goes away:
- Your profile and account information
- All order history and photos
- Payment methods and transaction records
- Subscriptions and saved preferences
- Support tickets and chat history
Before You Delete
There are a few important things to know before you start the deletion process:
- You must have no active orders. If you have any orders that are still in progress, you'll need to complete or cancel them first. For providers, you'll see a "Go to Orders to Reschedule" link that takes you straight to your orders so you can wrap things up.
- Providers can stop new orders first. If you're a provider and want to wind down before deleting, you can remove your services from the storefront so no new orders come in while you finish up existing ones.
- Deletion isn't instant. After you confirm, there's a short grace period before your data is permanently removed.
- You can change your mind. If you have second thoughts, just sign back in before the deletion is processed and your account will be restored.
How to Delete Your Account
- Navigate to the deletion screen. For customers, go to Account → Support → Delete Account & Data. For providers, go to Settings → Support → Delete Account & Data.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field. This is just to make sure you really mean it — we don't want anyone deleting their account by accident.
- Tap "Delete My Account."
- You'll be signed out automatically. A confirmation email will be sent to you when the deletion is fully processed.
