Managing Payment Methods

Add, remove, and manage the cards connected to your Laundryve account.

For Customers

Head to Account → Payment Methods to see all the cards you have on file. Each card shows the brand (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), the last 4 digits, the expiration date, and whether it's your default.

Adding a card

Tap "Add Card" (or "Add Another Card" if you already have one). Enter your card details and you're set. Your first card automatically becomes your default. When you add additional cards, you'll be asked if you want to make the new one your default instead.

Setting a default

Tap "Set Default" on any non-default card to switch it over. Your default card is the one that gets charged when you place an order — so just make sure it's the one you actually want to use.

Removing a card

Tap "Remove" on any card and confirm. You can remove any card, including your current default. Just make sure you have another card on file if you want to keep placing orders.

All your payment info is securely processed by Stripe — Laundryve never sees or stores your full card number.

For Providers

Providers actually have two completely separate payment systems in Laundryve. They serve different purposes, so don't mix them up.

Bank account (for payouts)

This is your Stripe Connect account — it's where your earnings from customer orders land. To update your bank details, go to Settings → Payment Settings → "Manage in Stripe." That opens your Stripe dashboard where you can change your bank account, update your info, and see your full payout history.

Payment card (for the Supply Shop)

If you buy supplies through the in-app Supply Shop (laundry bags, labels, signage, starter kits), you'll add a payment card during checkout. This card is completely separate from your payout bank account — it's just for purchasing supplies.

Instant payouts

Want your earnings faster? From Payment Settings, you can access Instant Payouts to get your money right away instead of waiting for the weekly payout cycle. There's a small fee, but sometimes you just need the cash now.
